(You might think otherwise after watching a couple of people at the gym - usually their actions are a tad messed up!)
The type 2 machines are a bit more expensive than the type one erg machines. But in terms of quality, comfort and fitness, the rowing machine that uses a flywheel is the best. This is why most gyms, high schools and rowing institutes have the concept 2 rower. It's the best way to train rowers off the water.
